I learned a good piece of advice just recently concerning air quality. A person I caught during a radio interview said "If you can't see two miles ahead of you, stay indoors." And while that is a great tip, it still isn't as accurate as this website we are about to share.

Here is one way to find out if the air quality is either too dangerous or safe enough to breathe. Before you head out, visit this real-time monitor courtesy of montana.gov

The site ranks our air in Montana on a level of good to hazardous, and even attempts to predict what the next few hours have in store for us as well. For example, at the time of writing this, it's considered "unhealthy" while the marker on the chart continues to climb indicating that we might well be on our way towards "very unhealthy" by days end.

Save your lungs! Visit this site before you hit the Montana roads.
