When I was a kid, and even as a young adult, we would always go door-to-door and go Christmas caroling.  Do people still do that?

There are just some days that you are in the mood for some good old-fashioned Christmas music.

One of things I miss most about living in Glasgow near Fort Peck, is going to live performances at the Fort Peck Summer Theater.

One of the greatest things about living in Billings is the many options we have available to go and enjoy live music and events.

There is just something about a live performance.

Here are five place that you can enjoy live Christmas music this year.

1:  The St. Vincent Healthcare Foundation and The Billings Gazette present the Messiah Festival Sunday December 6th at 3:30 p.m. at the Alberta Bair Theater.  Free tickets are available by calling (406) 256-6052.

2:   Streeter Brothers, Sparks Inc/ and Hoiness Family Foundation present A Christmas Story the Musical every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday starting December 3rd and running through December 20th at the Billings Studio Theater.

3:  Check out the candlelight tours at the Moss Mansion December 18th - 23rd.  Enjoy live music, drinks and desserts.

4:  NOVA Center for the Performing Arts presents Christmas Times A-Comin - A Bluegrass Christmas on Fridays and Saturdays, December 4-6*, 11-13*, 18-19, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday Matinees at 2 p.m.

5:  NewsTalk 95.5 presents  Darlene Love Christmas Special at the Alberta Bair Theater Thursday, December 10th.

If you get a chance, I highly recommend that you take in one of these great live musical performances.
