I drove I-90 from Missoula to Billings on Saturday and I don't know if I've ever seen traffic that heavy on an interstate in Montana.

I saw quite a few out of state plates and motorcycles. Hundreds upon hundreds of Motorcycles headed for Sturgis and the 75th revival of this particular madness. So, I had to look up the number of folks headed to the Baddest Bike Rally.

They get 400,000 to 500,000 people each year. And,with this being an anniversary year, there will probably be even more attendees.

In fact, attendance guesses for this year's rally exceed 1 million people — a huge jump from the estimated 442,000 people who flooded the town of roughly 6,900 last year. But Sturgis police Chief Jim Bush said he hasn't changed his security and policing plan much since 1995.

Keep this in mind if you are traveling next weekend when all of those folks are headed back home.

Also, can I hear "Motorcycle Mamma"? Love that song!
