‘Team’ by Lorde-My Hump Day Track Of The Week

While she's on the pretty young, Lorde continues to amaze me with the amount of talent she has.  I loved her song 'Royals' when it first hit the airwaves and fell in love immediately with her song 'Team' .  Heard it?

The song was released on 13 September 2013 as the album's third single internationally (second single in the US) by Universal Music Group, and the second in the United States by Lava and Republic Records. The track was written by Lorde and Joel Little and produced by Little, with additional production from Lorde herself. "Team" is a hybrid of pop, rock, EDM and electrohop featuring synthesizer, bass and snare drum instrumentation over ahandclap-based beat. Lyrically, the track is a "tribute to her friends and country"

Isn't it awesome?  I love it!  While I do wish that sometimes Lorde wouldn't always put her opinion on other artists out there so blantantly(she seems snobbish almost at times), I do like her music and respect her talent.  Lord knows I have none! I'm also a little confused about her style.  She looked like Wednesday Adams at the Grammys.  Hmmm, is she Goth?
