Taylor Swift may have swapped her banjo for dance beats, but we all know she's a country girl at heart. Apparently, the Academy of Country Music agrees with us, because the "Shake It Off" singer will receive a special award at the 50th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards.

The 25-year-old singer will be one of the seven country superstars honored with a 50th Anniversary Milestone Award at next month's Dallas event. The Milestone Award, which celebrates some of the biggest winners in ACMAs' history, will also be presented to Garth Brooks, George Straight, Miranda Lambert, Kenny Chesney, Reba McEntire and Brooks & Dunn. Taylor claims her space among the country superstars for being the youngest artist to ever win Entertainer of the Year (she was 21). Garth Brooks has won a total of six ACM Entertainer of the Year awards, while Miranda Lambert — who just released a sizzling video for "Little Red Wagon" — is the most awarded female solo artist.  All the honorees will be awarded with a unique sterling silver and white gold trophy, complete with black diamonds, designed by jeweler David Yurman.

Congrats, Taylor! Even with the switch to pop, your country roots forever shine. The Academy of Country Music Awards, which are held at the AT&T Stadium near Dallas, TX., will be hosted by Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan. Tune in to see Taylor get some much deserved praise April 19 on CBS. We can't wait to see her outfit!
