Selena Gomez covers the March 2014 issue of Seventeen – it's first-ever "Power Issue," which also celebrates the beloved publication's 70th anniversary.

On her cover, Sel rocks a pastel t-shirt with the word "Dream" on it. You can see the "dreamy" cover above, along with a "loyal" inside image.

In the feature, Sel, who was ranked No. 1 on the mag's carefully selected list of most powerful girls in Hollywood 21-and-under, spoke about when she began to feel she was making a difference. "This year is when I really started feeling powerful," she said. "I had always been the underdog secretly. I was on Disney when it was Miley [Cyrus], the Jonas Brothers, and Demi [Lovato]. I questioned the way I looked, acted, sang, and wrote. Then I turned 20, went through a really bad breakup, and realized I needed to have 'Come & Get It' be amazing. I wanted it all to be me. I'm glad it's taken me this long to get where I am because now I am ready for it."

We all know who she was speaking about re: that bad breakup at 20. The initials are J to the B.

She also talked about Lorde, who previously dissed Sel's music even though Sel covered 'Royals' on her Stars Dance tour. She is not holding a grudge, saying, "I recently did an interview and they asked me who I thought was up-and-coming and making a difference. I said, 'She doesn't like me, but Lorde.' I'm going to support her whether she likes me or not because I think she's doing great things. Some day I will see her and we'll be cool."

Perhaps Taylor Swift, who is friends with both singers, can broker that peace accord. Seriously, though. We lurve how Sel handled that.

Another fellow pop starlet that Gomez is pals with? Katy Perry, who dispensed some advice.

"I actually talked to Katy Perry about guys who are intimidated by strong girls," Gomez revealed. "I haven't found someone yet who could understand my lifestyle, support it, love me through it, and not be threatened by it. It's hard. I do think I might scare some guys, because I'm like, 'I want to change the world! I have dreams! What do you want to do?' But I only know how to be me."

Selena Gomez is doing a good job of being her awesome self.

However, based on her quote about boys, well then she should reunite fully with Justin Bieber since he is going through the SAME thing. In fact, his sitch is magnified. See, that's another reason Jelena belong together.

Sel's cover lands Feb. 4. Be sure and grab it, Selenators.
