'Pretty Little Liars' Season 5 is so close we can taste it. So what does a recent interview about Ezria and some episode 5x02 photos reveal about what we can expect in the next few weeks?

According to a recent interview with actress Lucy Hale (Aria) and actor Ian Harding (Ezra), the course of true love doesn't run smooth for Ezria either.

As Hale revealed at the 'PLL' 100th episode party last week, "it's a roller coaster."

When asked by interviewers if Ezra can be redeemed for his less than stellar behavior, Hale replied, "As Lucy, I want to say yes because I love them together, but this season is kind of the season of forgiveness for Aria. You can’t undo what he did. But who knows. I want to see it work out."

"It’s certainly put him in better graces, but [he] still lied to people for a long time, so it’s going to be an uphill climb for [him] ... A lot of crappy things went down and Ezra kind of needs to pay the piper now," added Harding, "It’s going to be a process. It’s not going to be, ‘Oh, thanks for taking a bullet for us. I love you. We’re good.'"

As for why Ezra and Aria just can't be happy, Harding jokingly replied, "It’s never going to be smooth, because then the show is done. Like, can you imagine Aria and Ezra completely happy? The only thing they fight about is Scrabble. Like, they’re playing Scrabble and Aria is like, ‘No! You cheated at Scrabble!’ That would be so boring!"

In addition to this additional Ezria news, we were also treated to some photos from the second episode of the season, 'Whirly Girlie' which reveals a tearful reunion between Ali and her father, a meeting with the still curious Detective Holbrook and a slightly less happy reunion with Alison's brother Jason DiLaurentis.

'Whirly Girlie' will premiere on ABC Family at 8PM ET on Tuesday, June 17. Season 5 will premiere on June 10. So close, yet so far.
