Playboy published a list of signature food and drinks from each state, and Montana's Rocky Mountain Oysters is what we will forever be associated with going forward.  

What makes this list a bit more official is that it was based on actual opinions of people in Montana, not just some guy they paid to write articles for a magazine not entirely well known for their articles. Yes, there are words in this magazine. Who knew?

For comparison purposes here's a few other examples of states and the foods we think of as one in the same:

Pennsylvania correctly picked cheese steaks . . . New York picked bagels . . . Kentucky picked bourbon . . . Michigan picked Coney dogs . . . Illinois picked deep dish pizza . . . Louisiana picked gumbo . . . and Texas went with Tex-Mex.

The saddest pick of all? Arkansas went with "meth cookies."  I looked it up, to see if that's like a name for a blue dessert or something . . . but it's not.  They really picked big old chunks of meth as the signature state food.
