Millions of Women Use Online Dating Sites

Recently online dating has been in the news and with that in mind, they found out how many women are using online dating.

While Ashley Madison might not have a lot of women users, a Pew Research Center survey suggests that millions of women do use online dating sites.

The survey found that 9 percent of women are looking for love online, which I guess is a huge number and just a bit lower than the 13 percent of guys who are on the site.

Men seem to be first initiator's, which isn't uncommon. Men also view a ton more profiles then women. No surprise there either.

But clearly, women are out there in the online dating world. And, this survey didn’t even address all the location-based matchmaking apps like Tinder and Hinge. (Qz)
