The DJ For Paul McCartney Offers Up His Beatles Mix [LISTEN]

The ones that arrived early to attend the Paul McCartney show at Washington-Grizzly Stadium were treated to a special blend of music spun by DJ Chris Holmes. 

Chris has been Paul's DJ for the last four years and his set really impressed the hell out of me...so much so that I was little discouraged that no one cheered when he wrapped up his performance last night before Paul took the stage! Perhaps most people were too busy finding their seats or refilling their water bottles to even notice that a very talented performer was blending and mashing new beats with classic samples? This is why I feel that we need to circle back and admire what most may have passed off as just a CD playing in the background before the performance.

First, a quick introduction from Chris:

I want to thank Paul McCartney and his amazing crew for giving me the opportunity to be able to play with him on tour. It is the best job, with the nicest boss in the world.
