Miley Cyrus has ridden her wrecking ball all the way to the top of the new Billboard Hot 100! 'Wrecking Ball' is her first-ever No. 1 on the singles chart, after close calls with 'We Can't Stop' and 'Party in the U.S.A.,' both of which previously made it to the second spot.

'Wrecking Ball' makes a huge leap from 22nd place to first this week, knocking the chart's prior champion, Katy Perry's 'ROAR,' to No. 2 after two weeks. Miley's track, which has also been named the week's top Streaming and Sales Gainer, made historic gains to top both the On-Demand Songs tally and Spotify chart as well.

The song's much-discussed video, featuring a both physically and emotionally naked Miley, also broke a record on VEVO, notching 100 million views in just six days. The previous record, for 37 days, was for Cyrus' previous single, 'We Can't Stop.'

'Wrecking Ball' joins 'We Can't Stop' and 11 other tracks on Miley's upcoming album, 'Bangerz,' which drops Oct. 8. Earlier today (Sept. 18), PopCrush exclusively premiered one of four alternative covers for its deluxe edition; check it out here.
