‘Masters of Sex’ Season 2 Premiere Clips: Bill and Virginia Talk Steamy Aftermath

Showtime's 'Masters of Sex' brought plenty of steamy foreplay with this past weekend's holiday marathon, but what's a bit of teasing without a climactic release of new season 2 footage? Find out how Bill (Michael Sheen) and Virginia (Lizzy Caplan) ended their night in the season one climax, and who's bankrolling Bill's study in the first few tantalizing clips from 'Masters of Sex' season 2!

Along with a brand-new trailer for the July 13 premiere installment (airing just behind the season 2 premiere of the Liev Schreiber fixer drama 'Ray Donovan'), the first clip from 'Masters of Sex' season 2 premiere "Parallax" sees Bill and Virginia reflecting on the nature of their scandalous relationship, following the cliffhanger ending of season 1 finale "Manhigh." The second introduces 'American Horror Story: Coven' star Danny Huston as Bill's new boss Dr. Douglas Greathouse, who himself has a less-than-savory interest in the sex study.

Elsewhere, ‘Masters of Sex’ season 2 added ‘Smash’ star Christian Borle, Rene Auberjoinois and Courtney B. Vance, along with comedian Sarah Silverman as Betty’s ex-lover Helen, ‘Akeelah and the Bee’ star Keke Palmer in the recurring role of the Masters’ new nanny, and 'Breaking Bad' veteran Betsy Brandt as Bill's new secretary.

We've seen the first few episodes of the new season, and don't mind telling you that 'Masters of Sex' will definitely earn its buzz as an award contender in the coming season, but what say you?
