Heavy is the head that wears the crown.

Lorde is featured on the cover of The Wild magazine's youth issue and the singer, who just turned 17, looks absolutely stunning in a stained glass-style top, complete with a religious design print, and with a crown on her head.

The 'Royals' singer is regal, indeed, and her signature wild, auburn'ish waves are blown out and larger than life. When you cover a mag named 'The Wild,' what would you expect?

But check out her flawless skin and those ice-blue eyes. Lorde is such a stunner and she's not even out of her teens yet. And she won't be for a couple more years.

On the cover, Lorde is slightly frowning, suggesting that there is plenty on her mind now that she is the newly-minted queen of pop music.

What's intriguing about Lorde (besides her music), is that she has been selected as pop music's new royalty by electing not to show skin and by cultivating her mystique in an era when oversharing is a necessity.
