Kanye West came under a ton of criticism -- and legal drama -- after he assaulted a paparazzo who'd been harassing him. However, after the incident, Yeezy was videoed making nice with other photographers. What gives? Well, though he considers himself close to God and even calls himself Yeezus, it turns out that Kanye West is human. And humans have bad days.

West was filling his Lambo in Calabasas, Calif. when a pack of paparazzi asked him about the incident, and West was both forthcoming and charming in his responses. Really!

"It's not about being a superstar, it's about being a human being," West explained of his demand for respect. "I really appreciate that. One of these guys," he said gesturing to the group, "was saying some bulls--- earlier, about respecting doctors." (West is telling the truth -- that footage is actually what opens the clip.)

West pointed out that since becoming a dad to Kim Kardashian's North West, his temper is more likely to flare out of the protective nature fatherhood has brought out of him."It's just, my family is growing up. Think of it like this: If you had a daughter, and you guys are saying crazy s--- to me all the time, you're saying it to my family, asking about this -- I couldn't imagine my daughter being like, four years old and you guys screaming at her," he said. "Like, Tom Cruise's daughter -- I remember hearing that you guys were screaming at her."

Ye also insists that paps deliberately instigate situations with him. "Like that guy at the airport the other day, laughing and s---. What I couldn't get to say on 'Jimmy Kimmel' is that when that happened, I had just found out my grandfather isn't going to make it past two weeks later," he revealed. "But when I'm coming out the airport or whatever, they're like, 'It's Kanye, I'm gonna f--- with him. I'm gonna antagonize him.' I tried to stop his camera and stuff," West admitted, "he fell down, he faked it and people were like, 'Oh, why'd you hit that guy?' I obviously didn't hit the guy."

He continued, "I'm trying to make a business call, I know you guys are gonna photograph me. I know it makes a cool photo, I got a cool a-- car and s---, I got a dope a-- outfit on -- it's all good," he boasted with refreshing self-awareness. "We're in this together. You guys help me influence, you help with the family, you help with Kim's power -- so I'm not tryin' to react you guys in any negative type of way."

Well dang! Kanye kept it classy, even posing for a few shots in his ride before jetting off. Don't you love this side of him?!
