How I Celebrated The Super Bowl In Billings
It's a little late for this, but eh, who cares. I took all of these pictures just to show you how I go about celebrating the Super Bowl(food wise it ended up) here in Billings. And you're going to look at them whether you want to or not! Please don't let my effort(I know, I know, cellphone pics are not much effort) go to waste!
So basically I cleaned half of Saturday and then Sunday morning(when I wasn't cooking). Well, the kids, my husband and I did anyway. I cook mostly, so I can get out a bit of the cleaning stuff(which I dislike intensely). Our house was looking sharp! Friends to arrive at 2 p.m. and on.
So I spent the other part of the morning cooking. Here's where I started(see below).
And....look how it turned out! Yummy! My special recipe deviled eggs and German potato salad!
It was a potluck, so our friends brought over tons of great food too! One of our friends made an awesome appetizer that I've never seen before. Can you tell what this is?
It's Mozzarella, wrapped in Grand's Biscuit, wrapped in bacon!!! Wowzers! It comes out looking like this! Needless to say, it was a hit!
Another friend brought over a chip dip that was amazing too! Coolest thing about it? It was the recipe on the back of the salines box! It was delish!
Here's a quick picture of the table before everyone all got there. It ended up overflowing with food later on, but I didn't get a chance to get a pick. Sad Face.
Actually, that's kind of a lame picture. Well, you'll just have to take my word on it. It was a full table. Ha, ha! We did not forget dessert either. Who doesn't love cupcakes!
Then of course the Denver Broncos lost, and lost badly. That was such a huge bummer! As you can tell, we are Broncos(and Peyton Manning)fans in a big way. So that really sucked. But we still had a good time celebrating the Super Bowl with our friends. There is always next year!
What did you do? Where did you go? Most importantly...what did you eat? Ha,ha! Comment below and share!
