Hey, it's your girl J.P. It's not often that you get to skip out on work to attend the grand opening of one of your favorite clothing stores, but today was one of those days! H&M, the Swedish, multinational retail-clothing company, which has over 3,700 locations across the globe, opened its doors today in Billings at the Rimrock Mall at noon.  Over 500 women and men lined up as early as 9 A.M. to be one of the first to experience the new shopping location.  The first 200 guests in line were entered into giveaways for up to $300!

After a ribbon cutting ceremony, tons of photos and a lot music we were finally let in! If you were there, you can agree with me that it was a mad house. But dang did the place look gorgeous.  I just recently moved here from Seattle where shopping malls and boutiques were at the tip of my fingers. When I got here, I was starting to wonder if I was going to have to do a lot of online shopping. I have seen a few cute boutiques and of course the usual favorites at the mall, but nothing that was fashion forward at a great price.

I talked with Megan, 28, and Brittany, 28, from here in Billings. They both said that they were super excited to have something new and different in town and that the variety is definitely what they were looking for. Megan confirmed my suspicions about online shopping.  She said it is just way more convenient and easier if you are looking for cute and unique pieces. Plus, she doesn't have a lot of time to go shopping between school and work but she said H&M is somewhere that she will definitely be checking in every few weeks to see what's new!

H&M offers women's collections, men's, children's for ages newborn through 14, and its plus size line, H&M+. The Billings location also carries accessories, swim wear, work out apparel, lingerie and maternity.
