MontanaFair is leaving no stone unturned this year as it celebrates is 100th Anniversary. Organizers are bringing in the world-renown Clydesdale horses, a record-breaking rodeo, expanded parking, free shuttle service -- and an escape artist.

Inside Edition gave her the stage name Lady Houdini.

With 1,001 escapes, Kristen Johnson broken the legendary Harry Houdini's escape record for most Water Torture Escapes ever completed at the 2012 Georgia State Fair in Atlanta. Johnson has now recorded more than 1,400 escapes from a potential watery death, according to Ray Massie, sales and marketing director for MontanaFair.

It’ is nothing short of a nail biter, watching her during the escape, as she is able to hold her breath under physical duress for up to 3 minutes and 18 seconds while methodically picking the padlocks, handcuffs, and leg shackles that hold her in what could quickly become a watery grave, according to Massie

Producer Mark Bell has seen her perform the escape up close numerous times but is still horrified by the two times he witnessed her struggle before crowds of more than 15,000 and 18,000 as she had to be removed from the water cell, according to Massie.

Twice she suffered hypoxic seizures and blacked out, the third she could not pick the lock inside the lid. Johnson has only been denied the escape three times out of more than 1,400 public attempts. Those three harrowing failed attempts prove the real dangers that exist in her profession, Massie said.

She'll look to extend her streak of escapes three times every day on the 4th Avenue stage during MontanaFair.
