DIY Halloween Craft Idea; Day of the Dead Masks

I love Halloween, I really just love holidays. So of course it's time for some arts and crafts and homemade Halloween decorations. 

These are much more popular this year because of the movie " Book of Life" coming out mid October just in time for Halloween. So I decided to put together my own "Dia de Los Muertos" mask to celebrate the new movie coming out Oct. 17th and my heritage.

This is super easy and super fun!

Things needed: Cardboard skeleton mask ( most arts and crafts stores have), Acrylic paints, paint brushes.

Step 1: Gather items and make art area, including putting newspaper down, grab a cup of water for your brushes. Pick out what colors you would like and prepare your paint pallet.

Step 2: Look at ideas for your mask online. 

Step 2: Paint your mask completely white, leaving areas you would like black alone. 

Step 3: Start designing !! 

Add whatever fun accessories you want!
