Colton Haynes has already had quite the 2016, and he expressed gratitude to his rapidly-rising fanbase in an Instagram post on Thursday (March 31). The accompanying photo shows the former Teen Wolf actor in profile and "pregnant" with a food baby, ostensibly in homage to Demi Moore's controversial Vanity Fair cover shot by Annie Leibovitz in 1991.

"So happy to make more art with Tyler Shields," Colton wrote. Shields photographed the actor and his Arrow star/good friend Emily Bett Rickards hamming it up in vintage-inspired drag back in January.

"Today I hit 4 Million followers on Instagram. I want to take a moment to express my gratitude & love to all of you who've continued to support me," he continued. "I know I can be odd & come off a bit weird sometimes but honestly...my career & life didn't actually start flourishing until the day I decided to listen to my own instincts and do what I want to do/be myself and not mask that."

Colton kicked off 2016 with a low-key acknowledgment that he is gay, responding to a Tumblr user's comment about the actor's "secret gay past."

“Was it a secret? Let’s all just enjoy life and have no regrets,” Haynes replied on his own Tumblr, setting off a chain of over 26,000 likes/reblogs/celebratory backflips/digital high-fives.

Closing his post with some state-of-the-Colton declarations and words of encouragement, he ends with, "I'm not going to conform to what people think is normal...and neither should any of you. That's so freakin boring haha.

"Be weird. Be yourself cause at the end of the day...that's honestly all that matters. Let people see the real, imperfect, flawed, quirky, weird, beautiful, & magical person that you are. Sending love to all of you :)"

Colton's recent work includes a guest role on Fox's The Grinder and upcoming drama Triumph, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for another return Arrow appearance (or The Flash, OR Legends of Tomorrow!) as Arsenal.
