According to employees at the West End Fuddruckers, it took the Billings Police Department more than two hours to respond after R+B artist Jeremih and members of his entourage assaulted them and caused over $700 in property damage. Now, some local residents are questioning the department's response time and wondering why charges haven't been filed in the case.

According to a KULR 8 story, by the time Billings Police arrived at the Shrine Auditorium to question Jeremih about the alleged incident, the singer and his crew had already performed a concert and left the venue.  Although local police were unable to question Jeremih, they did find time to arrest a couple of his fans, after several of them complained about the length of the concert and demanded a refund from promoters.

The Billings PD has yet to issue a public statement about the incident.  However, social media sites have been buzzing with allegations from citizens who contend that the delayed police response time was somehow related to the failure of the proposed Public Safety Levy in this week's election.

Here's a few of the comments from the KULR 8 article:

"Billings residents NEED to know how long it will take Police to show up for them if they call. Start by investigating exactly how many were on duty and what they were doing. Be wary of official information though. Billings PD is quite crafty." - Dino 63

"Cops are treating everyone like **** because the levy didn't pass. Maybe if they did their job, we'd want to pay them." - Tromera

"Shame on the cops for not showing up" - Gselady

"Huh. Funny no cops came. They sure do have enough cops downtown to harass innocent people" - Citizen

"The police didn't get their Levi passed...not encouraged from our city of taxpayers to care much." - Sparky Tronboy

"I wonder what's worse, some C list loser acting like the loser he is, or the fact that Billings PD had no cops available? Both pathetic"  - Jacob
