Kendrick Lamar's controversial verse on Big Sean's 'Control' appears to have elicited a response from B.o.B in the form of 'How 2 Rap.'

While B.o.B was not namechecked in Lamar's song -- where he boasts about being the king of New York and mentions ASAP RockyDrake and Mac Miller -- B.o.B did feel compelled to respond via song, rapping: "Now open your mind up and listen, you n---as / I am the master, the guru, and after I school you / I’m skinning you n---as / You finished / I’m making chinchillas out [of] n---as / You should be embarrassed I’m thinking ’bout rapping / It’s killing you n---as."

He offered up a little history lesson, spitting: "My first mixtape / They all said I sounded like Dre / Then they said my album was pop / Didn’t really sound like the mixtape / Now I’m doing what I started / Now they telling me I changed / I hear underrated so much, you would swear it was my name / Ain’t no rappers on my list / Come holla at me when you’re done riding each other’s d—k."

Ouch! It seems as though B.o.B is more miffed about the concept of diss tracks and that's why he responded, if that's indeed what inspired this song.

In case you missed Lamar's verse, here it is. He says he has love for other rappers, including J. Cole and Tyler, the Creator, but wants to reign supreme over 'em: "I’m usually homeboys with the same n---as I’m rhymin’ with / But this is hip-hop and them n---as should know what time it is / And that goes for Jermaine Cole, Big K.R.I.T, Wale, Pusha T, Meek Mill, A$AP Rocky, Drake, Big Sean, Jay Electron, Tyler, Mac Miller / I got love for you all, but I’m tryna murder you n---as / Tryna make sure your core fans never heard of you n---as / They don’t wanna hear not one more noun or verb from you n---as."

That's a lot of boasting, for sure. But that's how it goes.
