Ariana Grande just can't seem to shed that diva label.

The latest rumor swirling about the 'Problem' singer's reputation? That she seriously dissed her fans after visiting an NYC radio station this summer.

According to the New York Daily News, Grande greeted fans with a smile on her face -- but then drastically changed her tune once she left.

“She did autographs and pics and was all smiles until she got into the elevator,” a source revealed. “And as soon as the doors shut she said, ‘I hope they all f---ing die.’”

Whoa! Hold the phone. It's possible that Ariana Grande may have some eyebrow-raising demands and has exhibited some diva-like behavior in the past, but we seriously doubt that the pop star would take things that far. Yes, we remember when she reportedly snubbed fans at a Meet & Greet, but we sincerely doubt that the singer would ever speak about her fans in such a nasty way. We're much more inclined to believe that if she did, in fact, say those words, she was referring to paparazzi or annoying hecklers -- definitely not fans.

In fact, Ariana Grande addressed recent rumors herself, posting on Twitter last night (Sept. 16):
