Imagine: You're a late night TV talk show host. You've just hit your 50th show. It's a call for celebration, no doubt. What do you do about it?

Well, you'd likely do what anyone would do: Call up Adam Lambert and have him serenade you with a Queen classic catered especially to you.

This week, funnyman and frequent car karaoke singer James Corden celebrated the 50th taping of The Late Late Show With James Corden. And, while in the middle of emotionally ringing in the hashtag-ready affair (#ThanksJames50), the host was suddenly interrupted with a definitely surprise, not-at-all-planned appearance by the uber-talented Glambert himself, who arrived to the stage to sing a very special tribute: A goofy, personalized version of Queen classic, "We Are The Champions."

"He's paid his dues, done 50 shows / How he survived it? God only knows...he is James Corden of the world!" Adam belted, showcasing his unbelievable (and effortless!) vocal skills as a tribute reel featuring some of Corden's sillier moments played on the screens.

Following the killer tribute, Corden invited the powerhouse performer to return to the stage to sing his current Original High hit, "Ghost Town," to which Lambert modestly agreed. Yes, please!

Much like his other live performances of the spooky club-inspired track, Lambert nailed the chilly delivery and aching melodies of the Max Martin-produced cut. All that smoke and stage lighting certainly helped to recreate the song's ghostly vibe as well. In fact, this might have been one of his best "Ghost Town" performances to date.
