$20,000 Layaway Paid Off By Stranger

We’ve seen several stories like this the past few years. They touch our hearts and make us smile. There are a lot of good people still out there.

An unidentified woman walked into a Toys R Us in Bellingham, Massachusetts, she told one of the employees she wanted to pay for some layaway stuff. But not for her . . . for EVERYONE who had things on layaway there. Just in time for the Holidays.

After it was all said and done, she’d dropped 20 THOUSAND BUCKS to pay for more than 150 people’s layaway items. The only thing we know about her is she’s an older woman who lives in the area. The great thing was most of the things on layaway were gifts for others.

It’s at least the second time this has happened in the last week-and-a-half. Earlier this month, there was a story about someone who paid for $15,000 worth of layaway stuff at a Walmart in Ohio.

And according to a spokesperson, 597 layaway orders were anonymously paid for by people at Toys R Us stores across the country last Christmas.
